Aegiali Amorgos is the second largest port of the island, after the port of Katapola. Aegiali (Aigiali) is 15 km north east of Chora and it is known as the nightlife spot of Amorgos and also known due to Amorgos Aegiali Beach.
Aegiali is concentrated around the bay and it is the starting point for numerous hiking trails. During the last years, Aegiali has become popular among tourists for the tourism facilities and the long beach.

Amorgos Aegiali Beach is a picturesque and beautiful as a beach shaped petal-like and quite big with its length reaches 750 meters. It is very popular and attracts many people during the summer, as it has the easiest access to all beaches. The coast and the bottom will find fine white sand and the water is crystal clear blue and shallow. Characteristics that make it ideal for families with small children and beach games.
