Excursions

The island of Lefkada for its conformation and its position is perfect for cruises and excursions by sea.

From Nidri, there are boats for daily mini-cruises. Generally, the departure is in the morning and return in the late afternoon. The itineraries choose the most beautiful corners of the surrounding islands: the island of Skorpios, the bays, and caves of Meganissi, Ithaca, Kefalonia. Some reach the less touristy islands of Kalamos and Kastos.

The boats and prices vary in quality and itinerary. You can do an inspection the night before when they are docked to see them and ask for the programs.

Large boats are cheaper but very crowded with many hours of navigation and few stops.

We recommend excursions with small gulets and with more limited routes, but which allow you longer stop to enjoy the beauty of the sea and the places.

The most interesting and certainly fun is the Odyssey, in the shape of an ancient galleon.

The captain will keep you company with episodes from national and local history. Stop with a swim in Skorpios and Meganissi, and lunch prepared on the beach.

To ensure greater relaxation, places are limited. For reservations for the Odyssey excursion please contact us.

Other boat excursions depart from Vassiliki, towards the beautiful beaches of Porto Katsiki and Egremni, with a stop of a few hours. A gulet, a fishing boat, operates a round trip service several times a day to reach the splendid bay of Aghiofili.

From the village of Aghios Nikitas, a boat makes the route to the wild beach of Milos, otherwise reachable on foot along an arduous path.

Sailboat Cruises

The sailing cruise is another way to vacation, outside the usual circuits, to stay in full contact with nature, around the beautiful Ionian islands. Stop at anchor in bays with crystal clear waters or moor in welcoming marinas, take long swims to admire the seabed and the fish, the small coves embedded in the rocks.
